I bought this for Chromebook and it just plugs straight in and works fine. The build quality is good and the sound quality based on a few quick tests is very good too. It has a quality metal and plastic construction that feels sturdy. The tripod legs fold out easily and stay in place. The lead is a good length too. I'm very pleased with this Microphone. It also has a neat volume control. I was looking at higher spec mics that have wide and stereo effects costing twice the price but I'm happy with this one. I do DJ live streams and I've yet to check wether this can handle heavy bass in a room setting so I can't comment on that kind of recording yet.
I think this is a very good purchase for all my media adventures. I'm taking up singing using an autotune app and this will be perfect for that.

Best bang for you budget!!
Super... This microphone offers great range and superior quality. I originally came from a headset with a built in microphone as i loved the ease of a built in microphone, so i was cautious to try out a stand alone usb microphone, unfamiliar about its range, volume and how easy it would be to set up. However, lazy me was outstanded from the milliseconds it took to set up, I plugged it into my pc and it was recognised straight away as a microphone. In the box it provides a manual in case you want to tweek the overall volume and if you want to set it up for streaming. So fits to your liking!! Overall, the range is phenomenal i was concerned that i would have to have it constently in front of my face all the time however i can just place it in the corner of my desk and it will still pick up my voice so that was no problem at all.. Would recommend if you are moving from a headset to headphone. Tom

I really like this microphone, no faults found and the delivery was quick and easy. When I opened the package the microphone was well protected and presented. The sound quality is amazing! I compared it with my blue snowball microphone a £50 microphone and there was hardly any difference apart from a tad bit more background noise. The one thing I would improve is the tripod. It does not adjust and is a bit small, however you can mount the microphone to a boom arm to compensate for this.
The whole build quality of the microphone is very good, the body is metal and not plastic which makes it feel very professional! It does not feel flimsy at all and is not a cheaply built product, this is because the microphone has fallen off my table and not broken, the audio quality wasnt even affected by the drop!
Finally I love how you can compact the microphone, it literally fits in your pocket!
Overall this microphone is possibly the best microphone I have tried yet, because of the price, well worth it and should be more expensive, the audio quality and the professional design and feel of the microphone!

Bought this microphone for gaming use (in discord voice chat with my friends) & it works amazingly! Set-up is super easy, you just plug it in & it installs drivers automatically, I just tweaked some noise suppression settings in discord & I was told my voice was crystal clear with no background noises such as static, keyboard/mouse clicking sounds which is perfect. I cannot say how well it works for recording, but if you want to buy only for gaming like I did, absolutely go for it ! The mic stand it comes with it pretty good, but I bought a separate mic arm & filter as well (the filter is not necessary but it helps with getting rid of background noise so I suggest ordering that with it too). Has no mute button, instead it comes with a volume control wheel.
