      This filter filters all minerals from the water producing distillated water. That water is not suitable to be drink without remineralisation stage, which this filter not provide. I contacted the company about that concerns and they told "it's common myth, this water is perfectly safe to be drink". This is not only misleading but also life threatening advice. Returned. Stay away!

      It did take a little while to install. Two negatives,
      1 the installation manual isn't great, so I watched a few videos on YouTube.
      Non were from Geekpure, but they all seem fairly similar.
      2 The Feed Water Diverter Valve supplied was plastic and did not fit onto the existing plumbing, so I had to order a different one of Amazon.
      But once this was done, it all was straight forward.
      I have a tds reading of 0 after filtration, before it was 486.

      Hi everybody, previously I left the review describing some problems with the installation and quality of water. After that we contacted the seller and they helped us a lot to sort everything out. Now our filter is superb and we are enjoying the excellent water. Please, mind a few tips:
      1. Always flush a new filter before using for at least 40 minutes.
      2. Before using the system the tank should be emptied twice. It takes about 8 hours (4 hours each).
      3. After installation always check your system for leakage. In our case the tube which goes from the valve to the membrane cartridge input was too short and because its tension the thread in the input became loose which resulted in small but substantial leakage. We had to tighten the thread and install a longer tube.
      4. Also: in our case the membrane filter was not installed in the cartridge and placed separately. The plumber decided that it was a spear part and didn’t install it. After installation without membrane the system started to tremble producing strange noises. So it took us more than a day to understand what went wrong but eventually we did it and installed the filter.
      The seller helped us a lot and now the system is ok. By the way the system allows you to use either DI or alcaline filter.
      We definitely recommend it buying. We are happy with our purchase now.

      Big picture, this is a great RODI filter. I'm using it primarily for my hydroponics, but the water it puts out tastes great and tests exceptionally clean. For the most part, the installation was very easy, but the instructions made a few assumptions between steps that caused me to go back and repeat a step. The clean to waste ration is really good to. I haven't measured it, but I would guess that it is better than 4:1 (clean to waste)
