Ok chair for the price but would of been nice if it could be broken down into a smaller box for us city folk who are forced to live in compact places. My apartment is big but my hallways getting to my apartment are not. I was happy it came in only 2 days (I'm in NY, shipped from NJ) but once I saw the box size I was like omg. I live on the 3rd floor of a prewar house in a big city so like any old metro home, my hallways are narrow af. I couldn't get the box through the door so had to leave the box outside and just bring up the pieces, so I thought I was good until I realized the base is almost as wide as my stairwell, so I had to turn the base sideways so I wouldn't accidentally damage it on the walls. Luckily I got it in unscathed but smashed my hand between the wall and chair and now my hand looks like Mickey Mouse's.
Took less than 15min to assemble. And yea as others said the directions aren't clear on which way to turn the arm brackets; turn them with the indented side down, then line them up and carefully slide down until it "locks". It will take several tries.
As far as comfortable, I didn't really find it such. Feels like I'm sitting on bouncy cardboard. Although it's not bad, it feels like I'm sitting on TOP of the chair and not in it. I'm 5'7" and 215lbs. I'll be glad when my booty breaks it in. I also don't like how it ONLY lies back. I'd like to sit up but it leans back slightly by default. And u can't sit up with the legs out. U *have* to lean back for the foot thing to pop out which I don't like. I want to sit up but with my legs out but cant do it. Tbh it feels more comfortable to lean back in than to sit up.
