The DCE530 is our first dedicated cordless heat gun designed for many users and applications on site such as shrinking electrical tubing, bending PVC pipes, drying materials, loosening nuts and bolts and many more. Compatible with all 18V XR batteries the DCE530 features a compact size, 2 temperature settings with a maximum of 530°C to allow for maximum versatility in applications and a lock on switch to improve comfort in longer jobs.

    I use Heat Shrink Connectors , a lot of them....usually use a corded Heat Gun to melt the solder inside but thought I'd get a cordless one for outside repairs - takes forever to heat up the sleeves and is unable to melt the solder inside....it's on it's way back to DeWalt, waste of money

    Okay, I purchased this as a heat gun for shrinking cable tubes, and to be honest it works fine. It's pretty simple to use, top switch for heat settings, safety switch on the trigger and that's pretty much it. I have only just used it lightly for shrink wrap ties, and have no intention of using it for paint stripping. So it doe the task that I needed it for. I did look at cheaper options, but since I already own a Dewalt drill and have the batteries I didn't want any more rechargeable batteries hanging around. With the exception of my Ryobi !

    Ich kann das gejammer und gemecker um das Gerät wirklich nicht verstehen, weil dafür wie leicht und kompakt die Dewalt ist und dafür das die mit Akku betrieben wird, ist die Leistung doch wirklich absolut in Ordnung 🤷‍♂️
    Ja, und das selbst mit den kleinen 2.0Ah Akkus 👌

    Wem das nicht reicht, für den gibt es bereits sehr günstige, kabelgebundene Heißluftpistolen. Die haben dann auch 2000 Watt und schaffen teilweise mehr als 650° 🤷‍♂️

    Ich bin mit der kleinen Dewalt absolut zufrieden, auch wenn die angegebenen Temperaturen* von 290° / 530° meiner Meinung nach, nicht erreicht werden.
    Aber für Schrumpfschlauch reicht es mehr als locker und selbst kleinere Folierungen gelingen tadellos 👍
    Klar frühstückt das Teil Akkus regelrecht weg, aber das sollte eigentlich jedem von vornherein klar sein.

    Kurz und knapp, mir gefällt die kleine, leichte und qualitativ wertige Dewalt, auch wenn die gern etwas günstiger sein dürfte 😬

    * die in meinem Video zu sehenden Temperaturen stellen nicht das Maximum, der erreichbaren Temperaturen dar, da ich lediglich einen kleinen 2.0Ah Akku für den Test benutzt habe.
    Mit einem 5.0Ah Akku können die Werte vollkommen anders ausfallen!
