Very easy install on a new build PC I am doing. Wanted a few more fans to complete the case and this pack of 5 with RGB and controller seemed too good to be true.
The wiring is nice and long for a mid tower, you may struggle if you have a full tower machine and want to mount fans towards the bottom of the case - but you could locate the control hub more centrally in your case to hide the wires still. Nice compact connectors made it easy to slip the cables through some of the case holes making for a virtually invisible install.
Once powered up the fans go through a disco show initially but you simply hold one of the buttons on the remote to enable the motherboard control instead - my case (Lian Li Lancool 2) also has full RGB front as does my MSI B450 Pro Carbon motherboard and it was a cinch to setup a synchronised colours and patterns across the entire lot of them using the MSI Mystic Light app.
Fan noise (on lower settings) is nearly on par with my other case which is BeQuiet equipped with Silent Wings 3 fans, not quite, but close enough and besides those are nearly £20 a piece in this size. I also noticed that it keeps the settings between reboot which is great as you can dial the fans down to lower speed and leave them like that.
Only negative I have is it would have been nice to have speed control via the motherboard - there is no way to do this sadly.
