Various measuring modes from 0.15 to 60m - the atolla Laser Distance Meter is designed for indoor as well as for outdoor construction sites. It has different measurement modes: single measurement, continuous measurement (with Min/Max function) and measurement of surfaces/volume /indirect measurement (Hypotenuse function with 2 or 3 points). Measuring range covers from 0.15 to 60m.
Precise measurement- Thanks to the advanced laser technology, a measuring accuracy of +/- 2mm is achieved. The multi 4-line backlit LCD is easy to read and can also be used in dark environments. There are 2 bubble levels installed for precise vertical and horizontal alignment of the laser. The measurement start reference point can be configured as the front or back of the device. If necessary, the measurement results can be adjusted by +/- 7mm.
Extensive functions - With this handy laser distance meter you can easily set the display unit between meter/inch/foot. Up to 20 records can be saved and retrieved. The device also has addition, subtraction, self-calibration, and mute buttons.
IP54 & Energy Saving - The housing of this high-quality T201 is made of robust PC and ABS plastic. It is dustproof and protected from splashing water (IP54). Besides, the device has an Auto-Off function, which allows the meter to switch off after 3 mins of inactivity.

Ideal for architects and crafts! With a few push buttons, you can measure the dimensions of a building more precisely.

Note:

Please read these operating manual before starting to use the device.
Do not look into the laser beam. Looking into the laser beam may be hazardous to the eyes.
Do not direct the laser beam towards other people. Make sure the laser is aimed above or below eye level.
Do not use the atolla T201 as a control device. Only use as a measuring device.
Do not immerse it in water.

Tip:

Please avoid direct sunlight during use, because strong sunlight will weaken the laser energy and affect the accuracy and measurement range.

Mute button

Easily to enter the mute mode.You can use the device in silence places, such as the library, office and classroom.

Self-calibration

If you doubt its accuracy, you can calibrate the device through the following operations:

Power off, long press button ON/READ for 5 seconds till it shows “boot”, and long-press ON/READ button again till it shows "CAL" and a following figure displays on the screen. Users can adjust the figure with button ON/READ according to the accuracy of the meter.

Adjusting range: -7 to 7mm

Repeat the above operations to adjust a range that exceeds -7 to 7mm.

Rewriting review as realised my error, so when I first got this I miss understood the instructions, I was pressing button, holding button at point a and moving it to point b tracing a red line across the room, I was getting very inaccurate readings.

Yesterday a carpet fitter arrived with an almost identical model as mine on made by a manufacture that also makes very expensive cameras, first letter L :)

He Placed his against the back wall, pressed read button, it beeped twice he moved to next wall.

I tried the same this morning and suddenly realised my error. first beep beam hits wall second beep beam returns and reads the distance, it don't actually return but you get my point.

I would say this is very accurate, it has a good weight and solid feel, and is almost a clone of the camera brand and yea going to be way cheaper.

It can also go into contestant measure mode where it will take a measurement every 0.5 seconds. I don’t think I’ll use this feature but it’s good to have in the future if I find a use for it.

Very easy to use. Measurement is very accurate, I tested it with a measuring tape and it was 100% spot on. It has two spirit levels, on on each side useful for a whole host of things; straight laser measurement, levelling surfaces, etc.

You can change the unit of measurement by holding the “unit” button down. It will change between inches, ft, cm, and mm. you can change the unit of measurement before you measure, or even after you measure and it will convert your already measures measurements.

Overall very happy. Nice and small, compact, and easy to carry. Very easy to use, and very accurate. Would recommend.

Wanted to use this to measure target points at my air gun range but it will not measure over 14mts, even when the unit is pointed at and showing its laser on the target board, all it comes up with is Er.SL could be ER.5l. no mention in the instruction book or online as to what this means?

Atolla contacted me and have changed the unit for a new one, as they believe that it was a fault within the unit, very happy with their customer service a very prompt response from them.
