Noting Intergral small print the 64 and 128Gb version have the faster minimum write speeds ;-o
128GB is only expected to hold 2.7K full14bit lossless raw / NEF pictures.
Have had no problems recording 16 mins/ 16Gb of 4K video, card only just warm
Downloading pics directly from the D500, ~300MBs was not that fast so bought one of these CFE type B readers from amazon :
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08J7XF6V4?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details.
Speed values from CrystalDisc gave read and write speeds of just over 900MBs - can't really expect much more via usb-C on Dell XPS laptop. During the testing including 4GB transfers, it only got tepid warm, so I do not know what others have been doing to report any 'hot' problems.
One 'Odd' note is that in explorer there is no option to eject the card or reader, also it shows up in devices as a Disk Drive 'ASMT ASM236X NVME SCSI Disk Device' so i've just been removing the card when theres no activity / blue indicator led, without any problems to date.
Other then that both are recommended items and summing up ; if you have a CFExress camera and want good price performance get one!.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 June 2023Style Name: Cfexpress Card ReaderSize Name: Type B -10 GbpsVerified PurchaseThis CFExpress card reader is well made and has a nice, solid feel to it. It's also quite compact. Speeds are all fine. However, there is an odd aspect to the design:
You' expect the reader to generate a little bit of heat while in operation. CFExpress cards do run a little warm due to the throughput of data. But with this reader, while it's connected to a USB source, it will get slightly warm even without being used. The little blue LED light is also on all the time (flashes while in operation). This means the reader is drawing current constantly, not just when a card is inserted and a transfer is in operation. If plugged in without a card, the reader will get warm within about 20 minutes or so - and then stays warm until it's disconnected. Gets a little warmer again after a long card read/write, but not enough to be a worry.
I imagine on a laptop this would mean more battery power is being consumed than is necessary. I'm not sure if this always-on design will result in long-term degradation of the product, but I'm not comfortable with it and so leave it disconnected most of the time (which if course puts more wear and tear on the connection).
It's a shame that Integral didn't design this like most other card readers to be essentially 'off' when a card is not inserted, which really, is how it should be.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 February 2025Style Name: Cfexpress BlueSize Name: 256GBVerified PurchaseI should've read the reviews before buying. Card worked OK for like two weddings, should've returned it, but just got on with life with another card I hard purchased at the same time, once I came back round to it I'd missed the date for returning it, tried numerous times and ways of reformatting the card with no success, same issues as other reviewers with card not being accessible.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 January 2022Style Name: Cfexpress Card ReaderSize Name: Type B -10 GbpsVerified PurchaseThe card reader arrived in eco-friendly packaging as part of the manufacturer's effort to reduce plastic waste. The item itself turned out to be much smaller than I expected. It easily fits in the palm of your hand or your jeans pocket.
The casing is made from thick aluminium, giving the product a premium look and feel, much like those flagship smartphones before everything turned into glass. Given that it's a USB 3.2 all bells and whistles device, this doesn't surprise me. I guess the speed and the premium look is how the manufacturer justifies its hefty price.
Speaking of speed, I observed a constant 600MBps transfer rate when moving very large NEF files from my full-frame digital camera to my laptop. This is the maximum write speed my laptop's SSD can achieve. PCs equipped with the faster NVMe drives will also achieve their respected maximum read/write speeds with the top CFexpress memory cards, including the Integral's cinematic and professional grade lines.
Altogether, I am happy with my purchase and while I would prefer a lighter carbon fibre or G10 casing, alluminium still works very well here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sehr gute Leistung

Style Name: Cfexpress BlueSize Name: 128GBVerified PurchaseI purchased this high speed memory so I can shoot videos on my Canon R5. Initially the product will not work as according to the instructions you need a firmware update.
How I made a resolution was to insert the card to my camera and utilize the camera's formatting system.
The problem was solved with it.
