The media could not be loaded.

For the price it's brilliant. I have an older version of the old app (annoying I can't transfer over), and the door bell. They all work well and the picture is good. My garden one work well on hd (5m from router/direct veiw), door bell has to many obstacles(5m/obstacles), so the signal varies and with that picture quality.

Now this one I'm using for my driveway which is located around 20/30 meters from my property. Now the wifi won't allow for QHD as its so far away, but on auto it has 2 bars of signal and about 176kbs. Not great, but he picture is visable, and it works. Really it's my own fault due to distance. Overall very good for the quality you are given and the price it is.

I purchased this camera as I wanted one with the ability to move the camera angle and the added benefit of a solar panel which will constantly keep the battery topped up.

The camera arrived promptly the next day from ordering from Amazon. Inside the box, you received the camera, fittings and the solar panel. The camera itself looks robust and well made. The solar panel comes with 3 metres of cable, so you can position it away from the camera where it'll have the sunlight the most (you'll be able to see from my photo I've positioned this approx two metres away from the camera). I would suggest finding somewhere where you can hide the cable as it looks better on the eye).

The camera is simple to install, the instructions are spot on and if you do come across any difficulties there is a email address you can contact. You simple download the 'Cloudedge' APP in iOS (or playstore), turn the camera on, reset it and add the device to the APP. Position near to your phone and router and follow the simple instructions to pair the phone. Once it is paired you can play around with the motion detection, the camera angle and volume. I really like the speaker option on this camera as it acts as a microphone, so you can speak to anyone that appears on your property (invited or not!).

Fixing the camera is really easy too. You receive the mounting bracket for the camera, which can be mounted on to any flat surface. There is raw plugs if you need to go in to brick work. As the instructions state, it is best to have the camera up a minimum of 3 metres to get the best angle, but also to deter anyone from trying to remove it. 4 screws later and the camera is in place. You can then use the APP to adjust the angle you desire.

The picture is crystal clear (you can select either SD or HD - I chose HD for the clearness). It's worth nothing you do not receive a SD card with the camera, so bear this in mind and try and purchase a card at the same time -you'll need a micro SD card and it will take up to 128mb in memory.

The solar panel is well made, and have 3 metres of wiring. Simple plug in to the bottom of the camera and affix the solar panel to the bracket supplied. I used some tacks to tack the wires behind so it looks better on the eye. The camera is spaced approx two metres from the solar panel.

I am really please with this BOIFUN camera, and would highly recommend this to anyone reading this review. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

This camera has some pros, but also some significant cons. While the image quality is good, it functions only as a motion-activated camera, not recording continuously. This means it misses a lot of activity, even skipping some movements entirely. The short, 30-second recording limit is also a major drawback. E' una videocamera sicuramente tra le top 3 sul podio, materiale di qualità curato nei dettagli e funzionalità coerenti con le necessità e le aspettative. C'è però una nota stonata per chi dimentica un particolare basilare: il costo mensile in termini di consumo giga di rete internet! Cioè diventa antieconomico per chi come me ha tentato di usarla per far funzionare un router con una sim di offerta domotica a costo mensile molto economico: un'offerta che prevede un massimo di 200 Mb mensili che non bastano quasi nemmeno per fare la prima configurazione! Sono rimasto a zero e la videocamera non l'ho mai usata! Insomma, fate attenzione alle videocamere wifi: vanno bene solo per chi ha già una rete wifi domestica con quantità di giga abbondanti, quindi aggiungere anche una o più videocamere non è un problema. Altrimenti meglio una videocamera non wifi, cioè da installare con centralina e cavi distribuiti in casa, come agli albori dei sistemi di sicurezza. Sicuramente un lavoro più impegnativo ma di resa molto più economica sul lungo periodo. La mia tra l'altro la dovrò pure svendere, perché ho tardato l'installazione e sono uscito dai termini per il reso... questa recensione la faccio apposta per aiutare chi come me non pensa a questo particolare: se l'avessi letta anch'io da qualcun altro mi sarei evitato una bella perdita di tempo.

La confezione e' completa di tutte le parti necessarie al montaggio,, con tasselli e viti fornite per il supporto a cui la telecamera ed il pannellino fotovoltaico vanno fissati mediante innesto a vite.
La telecamera e' ben costruita, con buona cura dei particolari e qualita' dei materiali adeguata. Il pannellino fotovoltaico, se pure pienamente funzionale sembra realizzato con materiali e tecnica di assemblaggio discreti ma non ottimi.
Semplicissimo il set-up e l'accoppiamento del dispositivo con l'App dedicata Cloudspace; montata nel giro di 15 minuti era operativa; svolge egregiamente il compito per cui l'ho acquistata. Nel mio caso avendo altre telecamere installate e' stato sufficiente aggiungere la nuova telecamera a quelle esistenti, operazione effettuata senza alcuna difficolta' nel giro di 5 minuti.
Il kit fornito comprende, come accennato, un pannello fotovoltaico da circa 3 watt ed il cavo lungo tre metri che collega il pannello fotovoltaico alla telecamera tramite presa USB; il cavetto e' sufficientemente lungo da permettere un conveniente posizionamento del pannello rispetto alla telecamera; il pannello va orientato preferibilmente a Sud o a Ovest, in una posizione che permetta una buona insolazione per almeno un paio di ore al giorno; questo e' sufficiente a mantenere la batteria (integrata nella telecamere) sempre carica, il che eliminera' il fastidio di dover provvedere alla ricarica delle batterie quando necessario.
La durata delle stesse, senza l'ausilio del pannello FV, sarebbe di parecchie settimane ma comunque influenzato dalle condizioni di funzionamento settate per la telecamera, in particolare la frequenza degli allarmi, l'utilizzo delle luci a led di illuminazione, la sirena e l'eventuale movimento in pan-tilt dell'obiettivo.
Buona la nitidezza delle immagini, con possibilita' di selezionare tra definizione standard (SD con fotogrammi di 720×576 pixel ) e alta definizione (HD ) . La modalità SD crea immagini più piccole e meno dettagliate della HD (1920×1080 pixel) . Lo zoom e' pssibile mediante il classico "pinch" sulle immagini ma gia ad un livello di 2 o 3x i pixels risulteranno piuttosto sgranati ed il rumore digitale abbastanza rilevante.
La ricezione del segnale wi-fi (da un modem-router 4G LTE) e' buna e ad una distanza di 6-8 mtr dal modem-router e' costantemente al 85-90%. Credo possa essere ulteriorente migliorata orientando dovutamente le due antenne ad alto guadagno di cui la telecamera e' dotata. Comunuque ritengo che con una ricezione del 50% la telecamera sarebbe in grado di funzionare comunque egregiamente.
L'app Cloud Edge permette di settarne tutte le funzioni, e di tenere sotto controllo lo stato del dispositivo, la carica della batteria, la configurazione dell'allarme (motion detection, allarme sonoro, luci led, eventuale limitazione dell'area sorvegliata etc. ) nonche' l'orientamento dell'obiettivo con un panning di 355 gradi sul'assse orizzontale ed un tilt di oltre 90 gradi su quello verticale; questo permette di variare la visuale dell'obiettivo (che offre un angolo di circa 130 gradi); la funzione pan-tilt comunque e' solo controllata dall'operatore e non con tracking automatico del movimento, funzione solo disponibile con telecamere di altro livello e quasi semre alimentate da cavo elettrico.
Utile anche la funzione microfono bi-direzionale che permette un dialogo in diretta durante una ripresa in "live view" in stile videocitofono, per intendersi.
Questa telecamera Boifun si e' rivelata una piacevole sorpresa a tutto tondo che con una spesa modesta reca un servizio eccellente.

It Comes with a mounting kit and very easy to install. Very user freindly set up and app walks you through with all instructions. You can control the camera from your phone. Has a wide angle and truns almost 360°.

Night vision, motion detection and Track motion via sensor which is amazing for the price. Full hd 1080p. No built in storage but you can store it in cloud or install a SD card. I have used their baby monitors and performance on these cameras has not reduced even a bit. Very durable product and highly recommended.
