Expensive for what it is. Very "Sateen", almost polycotton. The pillow cases are not the best. Very thin, no flaps to hold the pillows and they don't feel high thread count.
The duvet cover does feel very polycotton. Not full cotton. The zip is a novel idea, fantastic and a great way to keep the duvet in.
Easily skagged, already bits of my rough skin have caught and felt like it could pull a thread. I've washed and attempted a starch in order to try to make it feel better, but it still doesn't feel the £70 I paid. Definitely feels budget bedding.
It's s nice set. Coupled with a duck down quilt, it is quite cosy.
