I've been using this since Christmas eve and I'm already noticing improvements in my consistency waking naturally at the same time and getting off to sleep easier in the evenings. I don't care whether it's placebo or not, it's a healthy habit.
I either place it next to me on the bed when I wake or on my desk, or both. Laying it on my bed allows me to get a higher dose of lux with it being around 30cm away in my peripheral vision and recieving 2000+.
I was going to spen in excess of 80 quid on one of these, but I personally do not think it's necessary starting out, you'll mostly be paying just for the brand name I can't see how they would be any better for my needs.
It's of decent build quality, has the light shades and four volumes for each one too.
The timer is quite handy, I do use it as a guide.
This also acts as a brilliant lighting option for your web cam too with the diffused light making this a versatile product.
Honestly don't think you need to spend to much on one of these unless you're going for the larger more powerful options £150+. I'm pretty fussy but very happy with this purchase so it's 5* from me.
