Step 1: sanitize your roller

Disinfect your derma roll by soaking it in 70 percent Trusted Source isopropyl alcohol for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Step 2: wash your face

Thoroughly cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser with a balanced pH. If you are using a dermaroll with needles longer than 0.5mm, be sure to wipe your face with 70 percent isopropyl alcohol before rolling.

STEP 3: APPLY ACTIVE INGREDIENT

Now you apply the desired serum or ampoule, which you would like to work into the skin with the derma roller. You don't have to wait until the serum is absorbed, you can start needling straight away.

STEP 4: ROLL THE DERMA ROLLER

Depending on your skin tolerance and sensitivity, roll 6 to 8 times in one direction and lift the roller after each pass. So roll in one direction. Lift up. To repeat. Lifting the derma roll after each pass prevents the dreaded "marks" that make you look like a cat has scratched your face. By the end of this entire process, you should have rolled over each area 12 to 16 times - 6 to 8 horizontally, 6 to 8 vertically.

Step 5: clean and disinfect your derma roll

Clean your derma roll with dish soap. Create a soapy water mixture in a plastic container, then swivel vigorously around the roller to make sure the roller doesn't touch the sides. The reason we use detergents like dish soap right after rolling is because alcohol doesn't dissolve the proteins found in skin and blood. Re-disinfect your derma roll by soaking it in 70 percent isopropyl alcohol for 10 minutes. Put it back in the bag, kiss it, and keep it in a safe place.

Step 6: resume your basic skin care routine

Use products that focus on hydration, healing, and increasing collagen production to take your results to the next level. The best thing to do after rolling is to use a sheet mask. Follow up derma rolling with a basic skin care regimen. That means no chemical peels or active ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, tretinoin, etc.

This review took a while before writing as I had to test the effects long term. Derma rollers aren't something you get results from in 1 day. So the results I've received from this are decent, I can see more baby hairs forming in the areas, and in the skin area rolled over there is less inflammation. I mentioned bad quality material and this because you can see that the roller mechanism is plastic but not only that, but it is uneven so one side rubs on the edges (you can see an uneven gap on the right side) so this effects the rolling motion. However I've been stamping instead of rolling but this is something to mention. It doesn't spin like a wheel, it spins with resistance scraping against the side. The tube it comes in was nicely sealed to prevent any decontaminates entering.

    I love this and use it regularly, I have definitely found a difference in my skin quality, I had one before this that broke very quickly but this one is really good quality, it is so easy to use and part of my routine now, however I always use a simple moisturizer straight afterwards as the skin can dry up for a few days after being treated, well worth its money as some skin treatments cost a lot more, yes all in all very pleased, I do like the fact this one has needles and not blades as I think they are kinder and being on a roller it is super easy to use.

    For the price I wasn’t expecting miracles from this KOI BEAUTY Derma Roller but it’s quite obvious from the look of the roller that this is cheaply made with not much quality control. It still works to an extent, the roller does seem to do something to the skin, but it feels and looks like cheap material at the same time.

    Es mi primera experiencia con un dermaroller, antes de lanzarme a comprar estuve varios días investigando y aprendiendo el funcionamiento de este tipo de tratamientos y tras mirar varios productos similares decidí por este dermaroller en concreto, titanium pro edition.

    No creo en los milagros, y este producto no es una excepción, pero realmente quedé sorprendida con el resultado de la primera sesión. Hay que tener en cuenta que la piel se inflama ligeramente tras realizar el tratamiento, por lo que hay que esperar a que se calme, tiempo que varía según el grosor de la piel a tratar y la longitud de las agujas del roller utilizado. Aunque se puede decir que existen resultado inmediatos ya que la piel se ve mucho mas tersa y joven.

    Algo muy importante para que los beneficios del tratamiento se maximicen y no se produzcan efectos secundarios es seguir una mínima pauta, que es desinfectar la zona de la piel a tratar, desinfectar el roller, utilizar un serum tipo retinol, acido hialuronico, con vitamina c etc. a la hora de realizar el proceso y finalmente acabar aplicando algun producto que favorezca la regeneración de la piel y que no contenga componentes nocivos ni agresivos. Si se va a reutilizar el roller, importante desinfectar otra vez tras su uso, personalmente utilizo normalmente cada roller unas cuatro o cinco veces y abro uno nuevo, según la intensidad del tratamiento se pueden utilizar más o menos veces hasta que las agujas se vuelven romas (las puntas van perdiendo agudeza). Hay quien utiliza una unidad hasta seis meses a un uso por semana haciendo total unos treinta usos, depende de la dureza de la superficie, y la frecuencia y la cantidad de aplicación.

    Por preferencia se puede utilizar una crema adormecedora, desde 1,00mm el dolor es notable, aunque yo me he acostumbrado y no me pongo nada. Con el de 0,50mm es casi cosquilleo, si bien la primera vez, puede molestar un poco. Tambien es posible que si lo utilizas por primera vez te asustes del sangrado, a partir de 1,00mm probablemente veas algo de sangre, con menos longitud casi nada, es algo normal en este tipo de tratamientos.

    Para uso doméstico se aconseja utilizar hasta 1,00mm de longitud de las agujas, más si es para utilizar en la cara, los de mayor longitud salvo que estes familiarizado con este tipo de tratamientos y estes seguro de lo que haces, mejor dejarlo para uso profesional. Para otras zonas del cuerpo sí que he utilizado los rollers de 1,50mm y 2,00mm para cubrir las estrías.

    Mi rutina es una sesión cada una o dos semanas con 1,00mm y una sesión con 0,50mm cada dos días, con un mínimo de recuperación de una semana para 1,00mm (y un día de recuperación para 0,50mm), lo hago así porque en menos tiempo veo que la piel no se ha recuperado completamente de la anterior sesión, cada uno tiene que valorar viendo como se comporta su piel y ajustar el tiempo de recuperación. Los de 1,50 y 2,00mm los he utilizado ocasionalmente para tratar las estrías, dejando un mes de recuperación, las estrías que tengo son muy profundas y marcadas, y los resultados son mas lentos pero igualmente efectivos. Tengo entendido que las estrías no desaparecen completamente, sino que se va notando cada vez menos suavizando las marcas.

    1,00mm sirve para marcas de acné, cicatrices menores, poros agrandados, etc. 0,50mm es más bien para que la piel absorba mejor los productos que aplicamos y acelere el proceso de regeneración pero sirve para marcas ligeras.
    Tras tres o cuatro sesiones se empieza a ver unos resultados realmente notorios, más para alguien como yo que se ha dedicado toda la vida a ponerse mil cremas dejandose una buena parte de los ingresos, nunca había experimentado un cambio tan rapido para bien y con un coste ínfimo comparado con lo que he venido utilizando. Desde que utilizo este aparato, me ha quedado una piel, lejos de ser perfecta, ya que tengo muchas imperfecciones, mucho mas limpia, con los poros mas pequeños, ayudando a superar cierto complejo que tenía.

    En cuanto al envío y embalaje perfectos como siempre, de esto se encarga Amazon al ser gestionado por ellos, viene presentado en un bote que se podría utilizar para desinfectar el dermaroller (yo lo dejo sumergido en alcohol 97 grados durante cinco minutos, pero no en el bote que viene sino en un vasito de cristal mas pequeño). Este modelo en concreto lleva las agujas de titanio a diferencia de otros que hay en el mercado que tienen las agujas de acero inoxidable, haciendolo mas duradero.

    Si hay algo de lo que me arrepiento es de no haberlo comprado antes, no me llevaría tanto tiempo recuperar el tamaño normal de los poros.

    Una de las mejores compras que he hecho en Amazon durante los ultimos diez años.

    En cuanto al envío y embalaje perfectos como siempre, de esto se encarga Amazon al ser gestionado por ellos, viene presentado en un bote que se podría utilizar para desinfectar el dermaroller (yo lo dejo sumergido en alcohol 97 grados durante cinco minutos, pero no en el bote que viene sino en un vasito de cristal mas pequeño). Este modelo en concreto lleva las agujas de titanio a diferencia de otros que hay en el mercado que tienen las agujas de acero inoxidable, haciendolo mas duradero.

    Si hay algo de lo que me arrepiento es de no haberlo comprado antes, no me llevaría tanto tiempo recuperar el tamaño normal de los poros.

    Una de las mejores compras que he hecho en Amazon durante los ultimos diez años.
