The Inkerma DM-262 laser distance measure works very. It's well built and feels strong and balanced in your hand. I particularly like the slight textured finish, this is easy to grip and hold. I like to note and evaluate the whole experience, for me even the packaging is important. I must admit to not having previously heard of the Inkerma brand, this is especially relevant with a current purchase price price of £69.99. A 10% discount off this price is also available (at time of writing). This puts the product up there with the big brands, based on price point.
The box is strong and features a colour illustration of the device, along with some key bullet points. The all important user guide is extremely well printed. Even more importantly the text and information is written in plain English. This obviously makes understanding and digesting the information a lot easier.
Two things immediately stand out, firstly the colour LCD display and secondly the built in rechargeable battery. These two features alone maybe account towards the purchase price. After reading the user guide you are measuring within just a few minutes. You can adjust the display to measure in metres, inches and feet which is a nice feature. You can measure a single wall, or if your room is a simple square or rectangle you can scan two walls and the laser will tell you the metres squared. I think its fair to say the variety of settings available is definitely on-par with my Bosch laser, costing well over £100.00 that doesn’t have a rechargeable battery.

Overall a good and useful tool that works well. I have put it through it’s paces today, versus a regular tape measure and the accuracy is really good. The built in auto-shut off a brilliant way of saving on the battery.

Battery lasts well, loads of features, easy to use. I really like the angle indicator.
Laser at both end of the device means you can measure end to end of a space even if you can't get the the walls in certain places.

Down side is this doesn't have bluetooth like my leica disto and when you press the button it sometimes takes ages to receive the measurement.

Laser Measurement Tool, Inkerma 262ft Bilateral Laser Distance Meter

I have had a few various laser measure devices over the past year or so, all appear to be pretty accurate to within 1 or 2mm. This particular model claims an accuracy of within just 2mm, this is quite amazing as the unit is able to measure distances up to 80 metres in length (262 feet).

This is quite a solid, sturdy looking device. It is quite small so will even fit into a pocket quite easily. Although there is a rather nice soft case supplied, this has a belt loop so it can be carried around your waist.

The laser measure is 12 x 4.5 x 2.7cm in size, it is quite chunky and fairly heavy for such a small gadget. The main body is made from a tough looking abs type plastic which has a slightly soft silicone feel about it, this should provide some protection if dropped. On the front are a series of six buttons which are laid out next to each other for easy access. Also on the front is a small easy to read digital display screen which measures 4 x 3 cm.

This digital laser measure is full of useful features which are too many to list here, but most are covered in the Amazon listing. The unit has it's own built in rechargeable battery, this will provide around 3000 measurements on a full charge. The battery contained is 1000mAh lithium-ion which is charged via the included USB cable (no charger supplied).

This appears to be sturdy and able to take a knock or two, this is important when on a building site. The device has a laser measure either end so you can stand anywhere within a room to take the measurement. This is much more convenient than having to place the unit against a wall. A red laser beam is emitted either end, the measurements I have taken do seem to be pretty much spot on.

Overall this appears well made and seems accurate.

As a middle-aged family man who enjoys tech but isn’t exactly a laser measurement expert, here’s my take on the Inkerma DM-525 Laser Measurement Tool:

First Impressions
When I unboxed the Inkerma DM-525, I felt like Tony Stark with his latest gadget. The sleek design and the red laser beam shooting out made me wonder if I’d accidentally stumbled upon a secret superhero tool. But no, it’s just a laser distance measurer. Still cool, though!

What It Does
Now, let’s get down to business. The Inkerma DM-525 is like a digital tape measure on steroids. You point it at something, press a button, and voilà! It tells you how far away that thing is. No more squinting and guessing distances like I used to do when hanging picture frames. Plus, it can calculate areas and volumes. Fancy, right?

The Learning Curve
Okay, confession time. I had to read the manual. Twice. But hey, that’s normal, right? The buttons seemed straightforward, but I wanted to make sure I didn’t accidentally summon a laser dragon or something. Turns out, it’s not that complicated. Just point, click, and pretend you’re measuring the dimensions of the Death Star exhaust port.

The Display
The screen is all colorful and backlit. It’s like the dashboard of a spaceship. I half-expected it to say, “Engage!” when I turned it on. The numbers are big enough for my aging eyes, and there’s even an angle sensor. I don’t know what I’ll use that for, but it sounds fancy.

Build Quality
The Inkerma DM-525 feels solid in my hand. Not like those flimsy plastic toys my kids play with. It’s got a comfortable grip, and the rubberized edges make it less likely to slip out of my grasp.

The Rechargeable Thing
Guess what? It’s rechargeable! No more hunting for AA batteries in the junk drawer. Just plug it in like your phone, and you’re good to go. But here’s the kicker: It doesn’t have a tripod mount. I mean, come on, Inkerma! Even my old camera has one. But I’ll survive without it.

Final Verdict
So, fellow tech-loving dads, should you get the Inkerma DM-525? Absolutely! It’s like having a laser-powered sidekick for your DIY projects. Just remember to read the manual (twice) and resist the urge to measure your neighbor’s lawn from your bedroom window. Trust me, it’s tempting.

Ammetto di essere un vero e proprio appassionato del fai da te e nel tempo mi sono realizzato una discreta attrezzatura che mi consente di fare qualunque piccolo intervento casalingo, per cui vi dico subito che questo metro laser con lettura bilaterale non poteva mancare nel mio "armamentario".
Non è il primo metro laser poichè già ne avevo acquistati altri che avevano limitazioni metriche sulle lettura. Il mio primo metro misurava sino a 20 metri il secondo sino a 50 sino a questi che riesce a misurare sino ad 80 metri ma che nel contempo ha tantissime altre qualità.
Ma andiamo con ordine:
Le misurazioni con i miei precedenti metri dovevano esser fatte poggiando su una parete il metro laser e cercando il punto nella parette opposta, operazione non sempre semplice a causa di ostacoli o irregolarità che potevano complicare o falsare la lettera.
Con questo meraviglioso prodotto posso stare tranquillamente nel centro della stanza e cercare i punti nella posizione a me più comoda... immaginate la semplicità di utilizzo e la riduzione dei tempi di lavoro che ciò ne comporta... eccellente...
Ma non finisce qui finalmente è il mio primo metro laser con batteria integrata ricaricabile (solo per questo elemento metterei la lode), si perché in passato trovarmi le batterie scariche prima di una lettura non era cosa insolita visto che sono strumenti che in casa si utilizzano poche volte per cui le batterie nel tempo perdono la carica anche in caso di inutilizzo o di un utilizzo parziale.
Aggiungo poi il display lcd retroilluminato a colori davvero bello, una tecnologia che consente una miriade di combinazioni di misurazioni e semplicità di utilizzo (basteranno pochi utilizzi per prendere piena dimestichezza con i pochi tasti presenti).
Insomma per farla breve sono pienamente soddisfatto del prodotto e volentieri assegno le cinque stelle.
Evito le ovvietà riportandovi tutti i dati tecnici e le caratteristiche peraltro ben rappresentate dal venditore nelle sua inserzione e nell'ottimo manuale a corredo, ma ciò che mi stava più a cuore era darvi tutte le sensazioni ed i riscontri avuti dopo i primi utilizzi e durante i test effettuati.
Vi allego anche un video dove avrete ulteriori dettagli sul prodotto e tutti gli elementi di valutazione per un eventuale acquisto consapevole.
