Its been about two months now and the bed frame remains intact and maintained durability. Took me no more than 30 mins to assemble it alone and it's quite easy I would say. The wooden planks are good quality and is better for the mattress support too.

    This is a great metal bed frame and unusually for this type of product, comes with wooden slats. To qualify the latter, the wooden slats are engineered wood as opposed to solid wood slats, but seems to work well in this scenario and if they break replacement slats are easily found on Amazon from various sellers. The bed does not squeak, nor do the screws loosen* with precise screw holes that line up flawlessly. The general set up was idiot proof if you follow the instructions, I tried without at first and found I had some parts upside down! * I used a dab of loctite on each screw to help with holding the screws tight.

    The bed does have a lot of underbed storage - easily sliding 2 extra large suitcases as well as 4 decent sized storage boxes, may want to get a valanced sheet to cover up the "clutter"!

    There is a minor issue that I found when put the mattress on the frame, the mattress was about 4cm longer than the frame - I solved this issue by putting the overhang at the head end where the support, in my opinion, is not as important as the mattress is against the wall - this does not have seemed to effected the structural integrity of the mattress. In fairness, I have only been using this bed for the 2 months, so if this changes I will update this review.

    All in all, I would recommend this bed frame.

    Very impressed with the design of this bed, was easy to put together and liked the fact that the sides slot into each other for strength before being secured further with bolts and an Alan key. Just one small issue was that one side had no velcro to join up with the bed slats. The other side had velcro and we put this down as a small thing to sort ourselves. We do think this bed is value for money and fitted the space we had available perfectly.
