The set of pots and pans are undeniably gorgeous, and the build quality appears excellent at first glance. However, their performance on an induction hob is severely disappointing. It takes 3-4 times longer for these pots to reach a high temperature compared to a basic steel pot I purchased from Lidl. I replaced my old Pro-Cook pots and pans with this set from Kitchen Academy, and I deeply regret it. If I could, I would ask for my money back.Update 01/12One of the pots(the small one) doesn't work in the induction hob. Removing one more star.

    I have been using these pans for a month now and I can now say that these were completly worth the money. It's been made out of quite good materials and seems to last. It's easy to wash as it's non stick and the heat distibution is amazing. I would reccomend you buy this if you need new pans or are switching from a gas to electric stove.

    Lightweight
    Good selection

    Cons:
    Not fully induction compatible. My hob reports them as inefficient, so they work but not as well as my previous set which was "fully compatible"
    They don't stack

    The biggest thing for me, is that they are listed as "Induction Pan Set", yet my hob analyses them and reports low compatibility, yes they work, but I expected them to be at least compatible. I believe the lack of metal probably makes them lightweight but also less conductive. I'd rather have the weight than lose the efficiency. It is noticeable, but I can live with it. Would I buy again? No, but I'm really not sure how to check pans before buying, and in this instance, returning would be a pain, I'd be back to not having a matching set, so for now I'll make do... until I find a set which is a proper induction set.
