[Oil reset]: this obd2 scanner allows you to perform a reset for a recalculation of the engine oil life system once the oil is changed, clear the oil light.
[Steering Angle Calibration]: CRP123E V2.0 obd2 code reader helps to clear the fault steering angle sensor memories and plays an important role in steering angle sensor calibration and turns off the steering wheel warning light.
[Electronic Parking Brake Reset]: Reset the brake pad after repairs have been made to the electronic parking brake system. It is important in electronic braking system maintenance, safety and efficiency when replacing the brake pad or motor.
[ABS Bleed]: When the ABS contains air, the ABS bleed function must be performed to bleed the brake system and restore ABS brake sensitivity.
[Throttle Position Reset]: The throttle body is a tube containing a pivoting flat valve (butterfly) which is used to control the amount of air entering the engine. In a car with electronic fuel injection, a throttle position sensor and an air flow sensor communicate with the computer, which supplies the corresponding amount of fuel required at the injectors. You may need to relearn the position of the throttle sensor after cleaning or repair.
[Battery Reset]1. Battery reset is to use the car diagnostic tool to carry out a reset process of the automobile battery monitoring unit, remove the original fault information related to the battery power shortage, make it match again, take the related information of the existing battery as standard, let the monitoring unit carry out the monitoring. 2. Battery matching is necessary in the following cases:

A. To replace the main battery, it is necessary to use battery matching to eliminate the original power shortage information, prevent the relevant control modules from detecting false information, resulting in the invalidation of some electronic auxiliary functions of the vehicle, such as automatic start and stop function, activation function without a button on the sunroof, activation function without power windows, etc.

B. The battery detection system sensor uses the battery pairing function to re-pair the control module and monitoring sensor, in order to more accurately detect the battery quantity usage state, avoid the instrument indication error information, causing false alarm.

[DPF regeneration] 1. The DPF regeneration function is mainly to periodically use the combustion oxidation method (e.g. high temperature heated combustion, fuel additive or catalyst to reduce the flash point of particulate matter) to eliminate the collector performance and maintain optimum stability. 2. DPF regeneration is necessary in the following situations: 1). Replacing the exhaust backpressure sensor; 2). Disassembly or replacement of the particulate trap; 3). Disassembly or replacement of the fuel additive nozzle; 4). Disassembly or replacement of catalytic oxidisers; 5). DPF Regeneration Fault LAMP after lighting and Maintenance matching; 6). Maintenance and replacement of DPF regeneration control module.

Transmission system: Read and clear codes and view live data in transmission systems, keeps the transmission systems output optimally adapted to the speed and load. Retrieve the error information from Automatic Transmission (AT) which is a type of motor vehicle transmission that can automatically change gear ratios as the vehicle moves,can fr-ee the driver from having to shift gears manually.
Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS system): Read and clear DTCs data flow in the ABS system. Performs various tests to check the operating conditions of Anti-lock Braking System, and turn off the warning light.

After having never ending DPF issues with previous vehicle and buying a 2011 Honda CRV and within 3 days DPF light came on.

At my wits end I found a video on YouTube about this product. After abit of hesitation due to price I purchased this machine and thought if it doesn’t work I’ll return it.

Absolute joy when this little machine cleared the issue with a forced regen. If I get 3 regens then the machine has paid for itself.

I’m by far a mechanic but fairly practice.

The machine worked effortless for me and guided me through the necessary set up procedure perfectly.

It didn’t manage to auto read my particular VIN but I just manually put it in.

Machine arrived next day after order , put to work day after that and I was absolutely over the moon.

So far I can’t fault this handy little bit of kit as has out a brighter outlook on a problem that haunts me during winter months when I’m not covering as many miles as I do in the spring summer.

This is the first review I’ve ever done on Amazon but thought it necessary to help others that have been in my predicament.

Initially outlay may seem daunting but if it continues to get the result I’ve experienced so far then I can assure you it’s a worth while investment to save hassle of visiting a garage everytime.

Brilliant !!!!

Bought this rubbish in April, connected to my ford fusion and it worked. Tried it on my 2006 fiat and it wouldn’t pick it up ! Tried it on a mates Vauxhall and again failed. Then tried it on a Skoda Roomster and once again nothing ? Only used it 5 or 6 times and tried it again the other day and the screen locked. Got in touch with the manufacturer on the link for issues and they just said contact the seller !!! But no contact details ? Called customer services fir Amazon and the lady I spoke with was great and it’s now being returned. This has totally put me off buying another obd device. Absolutely do not buy this pile of rubbish

I have now been using this scanner for a few months it continues to impress me. I know more expensive models and makes go into infinite detail and allow functions to be tested from the scanner but these are ridiculously expensive and too much detail is confusing. I have not found a problem yet that this scanner cannot diagnose or remove after the repair is complete. I would think only professional garages would need more. I believe that this scanner is great value.
