It doesn't seem to work.
I'm not sure if my rodents are just extra clever, but I've used peanut butter, cheese, Nutella and they will not go anywhere near it. I just think they're too clever to let themselves go inside a one way door. It seems like that is a careless design flaw because rats especially are not that stupid, they won't go in if they can't get back out. It's been like 2 months now and haven't caught a single thing with it! I will update my review if I ever do, but for now I am rating it one star because I just don't think it will work. Also the instructions don't really explain things very well, it doesn't tell you what the 2nd cable is for. I figured out that it is an indicator light that you can leave out so you know if its caught something. The instructions also don't explain what happens or what to do if and when you catch something. Like what happens, does it just roast the critter indefinitely until you remove it or is there a automatic cut-off??? Who knows if this thing is even safe to leave unattended. I can't recommend this product. Edit: the seller got in touch with me to organise a full refund, but it still hasn't caught anything. I have increased my rating to account for the level of customer service I received.
