Can I expand the storage? eufy Security will soon be launching a USB storage dongle that will allow you to expand the storage.
What is the eufyCam 2C Pro system compatible with? The security camera outdoor eufyCam 2C Pro uses HomeBase 2 as its hub. It is compatible with eufyCam, eufyCam E, and eufy entry sensors.
What is the battery life and capacity? From a single 5 hour charge receive 180 days of battery life. The battery capacity is 6700mAh.
Is there a mounting stand? 2 screw mounts are included. We will soon release magnetic mounts that will be available for purchase.
How can I connect the camera and the solar panel? You can simply use the Type C to Micro USB adapter in the package to connect the camera with the solar panel. Please don't worry, the adapter is waterproof.
Can I use HomeKit without a eufySecurity App? You need to install the eufy securityApp on your phone, bind the camera and homebase 2 to the eufy App, and then activate the homekit function through the eufy App.
Note(s): Only compatible with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, not compatible with 5GHz Wi-Fi or 5G cellular networks.

So far, I've been very impressed with the security camera system.

The quality feels good in terms of sturdiness and its been keeping up with the UK British weather thus far, handling the heat in the summer as well as the cold/rain in the winter really well. The mounts does do the job but I would prefer it to be a bit more better quality so it's easier to manoeuvre.

Image quality is really good, so colours are vibrant as well as clarity of the image is really clear, night vision is also up to scratch not the best that I've seen but it does the job.

I found the mic and speaker is just enough for this camera. Ideally, I would like the speaker to be a bit louder but it's OK I have been able to sound the alarm with this camera thus far and it has scared away unwanted guest but still would recommend a designated alarm system to be installed alongside with this camera system.

I find that battery life varies. Firstly, it's very easy to charge and they can both work wirelessly or plugged in via a solar panel which is why I have. I found that it charges up really quickly in the summer and obviously in the wintertime with the lack of sunlight it does struggle a bit and I had to manually charge the battery on a couple occasions which isn't too bad. I would see it having no problem in the summer.

The base station I found can be quite loud when the alarm sounds which is a very good feature and it works well with the app.
Love the fact that it doesn't require an subscription and it was very easy to install the camera itself as well as get it up and running via the app.

Motion detection on average is good. I do however find it a bit hit and miss at times so I've set it up to detect humans only but sometimes it detects passing vehicles quite quickly so it does notify me quite a bit and I also found that sometimes it's detects humans a bit later than I want, I would ideally like it to notify me a bit earlier than what it has done thus far but generally it's been OK and it hasn't missed anything major thus far. It does have it has its flaws but many positives and is good enough for my
needs thus far. So far so good would recommend.

First of all the packaging and look of this kit is great, but that's where the good parts end.

Cameras - Only 1 of them worked out of the box, and the other was dead on arrival. I tried charging it for 2 hours and it was still giving me nothing and I couldn't connect it to the homebase. The one camera that did work seemed ok but it would sometimes just not connect to the homebase and seemed really unreliable which is exactly what you don't want with a security system. The one camera that did work had a blurry feed, and it certainly wasn't good enough to read a number plate more than 2-3 metres away.

App - the app is atrocious. It is riddled with ads and it's difficult to find what you are looking for. As per above clicking on the camera to view a stream is a gamble and doesn't work 50% of the time. You get a (-1) or (-3) error which according to online forums means the homebase can't be connected to (it was wired directly into my router so this is an issue on Eufy's server end). MANY users have the same issue.

Homebase 2 - Horrible piece of kit. It has a built in robotic American voice that will not stop talking. Additionally it makes noises like it was designed for a 6 year old child. For example when connecting a camera it whirls like a spaceship taking off.. why? This kit also only has 16gb of internal memory and can't be expanded. According to the app my data would be wiped every month with 2 cameras!!! This should be very clear on the description as that makes a security system USELESS.

I really think this was my worst purchase of this year. And for £190 it was an absolute rip off. I should be compensated for my evening trying to get this kit working. Even after 4 hours of my time nothing worked properly.

Bought these with the expectation of using with HomeKit Secure Video. Turns out the integration is not as smooth as other dedicated HomeKit cameras. It's slow with HomeKit, fails to detect events , etc.. In contrast , everything works well with native Eufy App. I ended up using the native app exclusively with is not ideal.

Other than that, these are great cameras for the price point.

La durata della batteria va dai 20 ai 40 giorni circa in base alle impostazioni che decidete di usare.
Se le utilizzate direttamente da app hanno una buona rilevazione dei movimenti ma non vi aspettare l'AI per il riconoscimento di persone e animali. Quello è disponibile solo con HomeBase 3.
HOMEKIT:
Io le ho acquistate per la compatibilità con Homekit ma su questo sono rimasto deluso:
- non rileva tutti i movimenti, sull'app eufy avrete 10 notifiche e su app Casa solo 2/3
- abbassa la qualità della telecamera a 1080p
- non funziona il riconoscimento facciale
- le registrazioni sono lagnose e scattanti

quindi non prendetela se lo fate per Homekit.

Super système de surveillance sans abonnement . La compatibilité HomeKit est un plus pour moi , même si ça baisse la qualité des caméras. L’application eufy est très bonne et intuitive . Ça respire la qualité de partout . Installation facile . Une caméra est vite tombée en panne et très vite remplacer par le très bon SAV de Eufy. J’ai depuis acheté d’autre caméra de la marque ainsi que la sonnette . Du tout bon !
