It comes shipped in a sturdy box, with plenty of high density foam to protect it.
In use it takes around 10 seconds to rise and retract. And using the remote, you can easily program the exact height which suits your room the best.
There is also a usb adaptor, which is pre-paired with the projector.
Just plug this adaptor into your projector, and when your projector powers on it will automatically raise the screen. Neat.
It is a huge screen and is long, so measure your space where it is going before purchase.
The picture showing the extension lead, gives you an idea of it's size.
In use it smoothly and quietly glides up and down to its set position.
At the back are very strong folding mechanisms, which keep the screen nice and stable.
And the tension wires on the side, do a great job of keeping the screen perfectly flat when extended.
in terms of performance, I tested it with an older but good Benq 1080p projector.
This normally beams onto a white wall. The video I have done shows the picture on the wall, and then with the screen.
Harder to tell with the video, but there is some gain in brightness, and definite gain in colour and image quality. And this is from a 1080p projector. So the difference would be even greater with a 4k projector.
Overall, it is definitely a nicer watch using this projector screen.
the screen doesn't have any audio pass through section, so any speakers are best used to the side or front of the projector. With my soundbar behind it, you could tell the sound was slightly muffled with the screen up.
This screen would be ideal in areas where you don't want a screen to be up permanently, and want to use the space for other uses.
In use it is simple to use, especially with the usb adaptor and picture quality is amazing.
Just need to treat myself to a 4k projector now, to really show it off!
