For stabilisation. Just like the ZV-E10 mark I, the mark II does not have IBIS (in-body stabilisation) like you will find in the A6700.
So depending on what video footage you will be doing, make sure the Active Steady or Digital Stabilisation is turned on. Its not the same as IBIS, but its better than nothing.

If you intend to do a lot of hand-held footage, lots of movements, even with Active Steady shot enabled, be weary you will get shaky footage. Some post processing with editing software will help. But the video footage itself is good quality.

Other notable upgrades in the ZV-E10 mark II over the ZV-E10 mark I:
* 26MP sensor
* 4k 60p slow-mo recording
* 10-bit 4:2:2 video - if you are into more professional video footage and colour grading. Otherwise it doesn’t matter too much.
* New Sony menu system which is easier to use and navigate.
* Battery improved - uses the NP-FZ100 which is the same battery across other Sony cameras such as A6700, ZV-E1, etc.
* Slightly larger body compared to mark I - positive is that it has a larger grip and easier to hold.

I charged the camera according to the instruction. The led indicator showed it was charging. And that was the only sign of life I had from the camera.
It doesn’t switch on.
The screen remains blank.
How can that expensive camera just don’t switch on????
The return process is annoying and a total disaster. I was transferred from one person to another for a whole hour long. They just drop from the chat and someone else would join to ask again how they can help. Fully disappointed.
The item I ordered doesn’t work. And Amazon even cannot simply replace it with another one of the same model. I’ve been offered to return, refund (which takes up to 37 days as they say!) and order same thing again.
Why you cannot just bring a new working one and exchange to the broken one? Since I’m happy to give it another try (mainly because I already bought a number of accessories and I will die returning them all now).

Update: I finally found the issue. Not every USB-C cable and charger works with this camera. I guess you must have USB-C PD only to change it. I cancelled the return/refund process. But I leave my feedback with 1 star only because the instruction says NOTHING about USB-C cable requirements! It says “commercially available” instead. I spent a half a day trying to make it work.
If your product doesn’t work with any charger - just provide one in the box. It costs 1000 times cheaper than the camera itself.

I would pitch myself very much as a photography enthusiast, I have an interest, taken some classes and explore it as a leisure activity. This camera appealed to me as a one stop solution- something compact, small and lightweight with impressive capabilities and functionality without being overly complicated.

This model is small, compact, easy to operate and allows you to get photos and video easily when on the move, and the touchscreen that folds out gives you great scope with angles and creativity, and of course ease of use.

There is no denying that even from the simplest of shots, the image quality delivered by this camera is outstanding in terms of level of detail in images. The autofocus is fast and crisp, making for an easy point and shoot, and gives you a good option whilst getting to grips with the manual focus. As the owner of two cats I’ve enjoyed putting the pet setting to good use to get sharp images of moving objects.

I will admit my experience in video is limited at this point, however I liked this camera because it offers amazing capabilities in the video department too.
It would be great for vloggers and those capturing videos on the move as it’s so compact, and easy to move around without compromising on quality of footage.

When you go through all the menus on the camera it can look a little overwhelming, but in reality I think it’s serves as a good bridge between aiding your interest as a beginner, to allowing you to explore the manual options as your skills progress.

It is a very pricey piece of kit but for good reason- it gives you great capture quality, a compact design, and room to explore more skills and functionality as your skills and interest grow.

Compre la ZV E10 y esta (la II), me encanta. De hecho voy a comprar otra para tener dos, una en casa y otra en el trabajo. Hay personas que opinan que no justifica los 300€ que cuesta de más, yo creo que sí pero depende de tu presupuesto, claro.

Tengo que admitir que no soy un experto en fotografía, pero una vez que aprendes a hacer fotos y videos en Manual, la calidad es impresionante.

Mi è appena arrivata, nuova sigillata senza sorprese. Data l'importanza e il costo dell'articolo non è dato possibile deviare il pacco ad un locker o ufficio di deposito postale, ma solo ed esclusivamente a domicilio. Poi nella giornata di consegna Amazon ti invia una password che devi leggere al corriere, che la verifica sul suo portatile e.... solo dopo ti da il pacchetto altrimenti non lo lascia. Sono passato a questa "videofotocamera" dopo aver avuto una Sony RX 100 M3, macchina fantastica dalle caratteristiche eccezionali ma con alcune lacune per la mancanza di proprietà fondamentali quali il sensore APS-C; il 4K, l'ingresso mik esterno, l'uscita cuffie, ed altro. Ora me la devo studiare bene prima di dare un parere oggettivo. C'è stato solo un Thrilling alla prima carica della batteria perchè dopo due ore si spegneva il led di ricarica ma quando accendevi la camera dava batteria scarica, e questo per due volte.....panico!!!! ho subito cercato on line ed ho trovato info in un tutorial dove si diceva di spegnere la macchina, togliere la batteria, reinserirla, riaccendere pur che dava scarica, e lasciarla accesa qualche minuto. Beh ha funzionato, è apparsa l'icona di batteria carica Full.... in pratica sembra che all'inizio la camera debba memorizzare la batteria, dopo di chè se carica ti mostra il massimo della capacità. Con la prova di San Tommaso l'ho lasciata in registrazione per cinque minuti (a 4K/60) ed alla fine era sparita solo una piccola tacchetta della batteria sul totale. Insomma macchina super, che appena ne avrò imparato almeno il 20% delle funzioni fondamentali, sarà accompagnata da microfoni wireless Rode, Jimbal Ronin, Teleprompter Pad, e un illuminatore da camera led. Il cavalletto professionale Weifeng già l'ho acquistato. Aggiornerò la recensione dopo le opportune prove tecniche.
