I wanted this as we have a cat that gets sick if it eats biscuits, and if I leave fresh food out, it eats it all and makes itself sick. He's not exactly bright. So I've been woken many times in the night by an insistent ginger nose wanting food or the smell of cat sick. Since buying this, I've thankfully been able to sleep. Now I load it up with cat food (see the picture) and make sure that the ice packs (2 that in my experience last about 16 hours) are in place and then I program when I want it to dispense and job done! Its able to take 6 feeds with each programmable over a 24 hour period. Its as simple as setting the clock and then setting each feed's time. In my case, I set it for 2 am and 6am and I have a happy cat. You can see from the video that it has a lid and that slides open when you do the first feed so it stops them being able to eat the 6th feed if you have one. You can also do a manual feed by just pressing a button should you wish. Its easy to clean and operate and I've found it a great piece of kit. Its a bit pricey, but seems to be par for the course and as with everything, you get what you pay for and it certainly does the job. Really pleased and a hell of a lot less tired.

    I have a dry food feeder but if I am away from home for longer than I'd like, I'd want to give the cats wet food as well. This works pretty well so far, you set the times you want it to rotate and reveal one of the underlying bowls and it has ice packs underneath to keep things fresh for the cats. I can see this being useful if going away for a short break (as in a weekend) as my cats are fussy and like wet as well as dry food being available.

    Battery operated so no extra wires to trip over. Think it'd be good to be bundled with a spare ice pack or something so you can have one set 'on the go' and one freezing, but otherwise a handy tool.

    It works. However it does have a flaw.

    You can’t set the time for the next day if it’s for a bigger number than the time you’re at.

    For example, if it’s 8pm and you want to set a feeding time for 1pm the following day, it will only let you set it for 1am. The only way I’ve found around this is to set the clock on the feeder for midnight, then calculate the hours for the next feeds and program it that way.

    Worked for a few weeks but then the doors started to get stuck randomly. From there the screen started to go on and off so I thought it was a battery issue, changed to new batteries and now it’s totally dead and won’t turn on. It’s a nice design but the functionality doesn’t work so it’s pointless. Managed to get a refund from Amazon but wouldn’t recommend at all.

    This feeder feels well made and the timer opens accurately, as expected. The problem is that the timer won't go beyond midnight. If you need to feed overnight as well as the next morning then don't buy this. Example I want to feed at 6pm, 10pm and 8am the following morning, but the 8am feed won't work as the feeder can't cope with a time that crosses midnight/00:00. So 8am, 6pm and 10pm ( in that order), all good, but beyond midnight can't be done. The product photos and reviews don't explain this but look carefully and all you see are timings that start and end between 00:01 and 23:59. If that's what you want, this feeder could be great but it's not what I needed for an occasional night away.

    Also this isn't really suitable for my cats as they will eat a bit and then come back later. Unfortunately 'later' the food tray has moved around and the first meal is hidden, never to be seen again. Result is wasted food and hungry cats.

    Delighted with this, I have 5 cats and would usually have to get home by a certain time to give them wet food. Or organise someone to pop over and feed them.
    Was very easy to set up and battery operated so can put anywhere. Batteries also included. There are two handy ice packs included for warmer weather but I feel not really needed in December in the UK!
    But will come in handy for overnight trips in the summer
    Can fit a standard can of cat food (possibly two if need ) across 6 portions, (my cats also eat dry this just the amount they eat over 24HRS )
    Not a bad price either for making life easier . It's nice to know I can stay out later in the evening or evening overnight at short notice if I want to!
    The food part lifts off easily for cleaning and is dishwasher safe
    Its a win for me! :)

    Compramos dos porque tenemos dos gatas. Una de ellas, si le pones la comida del día, se la come de una sentada y si no, hay que estar despertándose por la noche porque pide comer. Con esto podemos controlar la cantidad de pienso seco que come (aparte toma latita antes de dormir), cuánto cada vez y a qué horas (le ponemos más de madrugada).

    Puntos positivos:

    Puedes programar hasta 6 comidas. Ellas hacen 7, la primera se la ponemos antes de rellenar para el resto del día.
    No hace mucho ruido, así que salvo que te despiertes con una mosca, no molesta.

    No se cierra cuando pasa un tiempo, simplemente pasa al siguiente compartimento cuando llega la siguiente toma, con lo que no tienen que comer con prisa.

    Puntos a mejorar.

    El anterior comedero se abría con chip, éste no. Si tienes más de un gato y no comen la misma cantidad, o los dejas separados si te vas, o estás pendiente cuando llegan las horas. Nosotros de noche las tenemos que separar para que la que está a régimen no se coma la comida de la otra.

    Para un gato de tamaño pequeño está bien, para uno un poco más grande o con la cabeza más redondita, los huecos son demasiado profundos y acaban sacando los granos de pienso con la pata para comérselos fuera. Nosotros lo hemos solucionado encargando unos rellenos a medida, hechos en 3D (en "Surtidito 3D", Cádiz; ¡Muchas gracias!) que elevan el fondo y nuestra gata gordita puede comer a gusto. Es el fondo blanco que se ve en las fotos. El otro comedero lo hemos dejado tal cual porque la otra gata no tiene problema de acceso.

    Resumiendo: para tener un único animal, perfecto. Para dos o más, mejoraría mucho la cosa si se abriera con lector de chip.

    Ho preso la versione in acciaio inox che mi piace di più odiando la plastica.
    Usandolo prevalentemente per il pasto umido delle 5 am, uso solo un dischetto refrigerante altrimenti è troppo freddo!

    Abbastanza silenzioso, avrei eliminato il beep che avverte l’erogazione del pasto.
