Product arrived charged straight out of the box. I bought this on impulse after hearing it mentioned. My original plan was to mount it on the camera for filming myself outdoors. Then I realised that it would make more sense to hand hold it just out of shot. I used it with the ‘dead cat’ hairy windscreen. Results were superb: no handling noise, no wind noise. I was originally going to cut the Comica label off the windscreen but I didn’t need too. Sound quality was noticeably better and quieter than the lavalier/tie clip wi-fi mic I was using before. Really delighted with this. Exceeded expectations.

The Ultimate content creation Microphone
In the box is a nice soft storage case with 2 compartments for storing all the items inside. Inside is the storage case first compartment is the VM40 shotgun microphone, the receiver for connection to your camera or smartphone, a shock mount, a boom pole adapter. In the second compartment are the accessories such as the USB cables for connectivity, threading adapters and a foam and fluffy microphone cap. The microphone itself is a surprisingly light weight design and feels really premium. There are a additional extras on it in the form of a LCD screen and 2 buttons of which one turns it on and off and a record button. On the side of the microphone is 3.5mm audio connection and a USB-C connector. On the end of the microphone is the gain filer which rotates from 1 - 10. There many extra features which the manual goes into a lot of detail and it is extremely worth while reading it to get the most out of the microphone. Inside the microphone is a storage capacity of 32GB which will record all of your files onto. To access any of these files you have to attach it to your pc and hold both buttons on the microphone to change it into copy mode. With this storage it should give you about 40 hours of 32bit flow recording. When recording the microphone records in a 48Khz 32bit flow internally which makes a fantastic recording of a much high dynamic range of your audio giving you perfect feedback. The battery in the microphone should give you about 10 hours of wireless usage. The receiver is made of plastic with an LCD display with 3 buttons to control all your settings. This microphone makes a fantastic edition for recording sound on your camera or whilst streaming and there are so many settings that I just cant cover all of them in this review. The audio quality of this microphone when recording is sublime with pitch perfect reproduction and being able to take the microphone and use on the go without it connected to anything is a game changer with 32bit flow. I feel Comica have made maximum effort with this microphone and produced a product that exceeds expectations and I thoroughly recommend it.

Das Mikrofon kann sowohl am PC, Smartphone, Actioncam und Videocamera genutzt werden. Es gibt zwei Anschlussmöglichkeiten: Per Kabel, 3,5mm Klinke bzw. USB oder per WiFi.
Für die Verwendung per XLR Anschluss wäre ein Zusatzkabel notwendig.
Das Shotgun ist ca. 21 cm lang und aus Metall. Outdoor sollte der Windjammer verwendet werden. Er wird über den Schaum Pop-Schutz gezogen. Mit einer Kabelverbindung kann man einen Monokanal um -6dB einstellen um ggf. Übersteuerungen zu vermeiden. Die Aussteuerung kann direkt am Mikrofon erfolgen. Zusätzlich ist es auch möglich das Mikrofon per WiFi zu nutzen. Dann kommt der Reseiver zum Einsatz der an der Kamera befestigt wird. E verfügt u.a. auch über einen Kopfhörerausgang zur Tonkontrolle. Beide Geräte verfügen über Displays die alle wichtigen Infos anzeigen.
Eine Besonderheit des Mikrofonset ist es das man gleichzeitig eine Kabel und Funkverbindung herstellen kann. Dadurch kann man den Ton synchron und gleichzeitig an zwei Aufnahmegeräten/ Kameras aufzeichnen. Bei viel Wind läßt sich ein Tiefenpassfilter einschalten.
Bei der Aufnahme habe ich kein Brummen oder rauschen. Alles ist bestens. Ich werde nach einem ersten positiven Test (s. Video) das Mic für meine Videoproduktionen einsetzen. Praktikabel ist es wenn man z.B. in eier Grußße unterwegs ist und einen "sauberen" Atmoton benötigt. Dann verwendet man das Richtmikro einfach etwas abseits der "Störgeräusche" und hat trotzdem einen passenden synchronen Ton.
Ich kann das CVM-VM30 nur empfehlen.
