The fact the manufacturer states they check their products before they go out is complete BS because how is the IR sensor wire (the receiver which allows the remote to work) not even in or connected to the IR controller. Then I asked Amazon to sort it and they “cant send” the part I want out so only offered me £50 back

    We bought this bed for our daughter’s first apartment and it is probably just right for the first few years. It’s attractive and sturdy, but it’s a little lightweight and slid around a little too much. We solved that issue by placing it on top of a rug. Assembly was easy enough, although if you assemble furniture frequently enough you will know to assemble the sides in a different order than suggested, just to make it easier to maneuver the frame. Also, be careful to put the slats on facing up to hold the mattress correctly. Otherwise, this is a great bed—great deal and we are very happy with it.

    The bed is fine as to sturdiness, but the headboard is kind of small, so that you can see a space in between mattress and headboard. Also, the instructions with the screws are kind of confusing, since they have mistakenly placed the wrong letter on a set of screws that goes to attach headboard and frames. I had a hell of a time putting that thing together. You should get someone to help you, which will probably make it easier, and not have to go through the birth pains I went through. If I had known it was going to be so difficult, I would not have gotten this bed, even for free.
